This is a real head scratcher! Need urgent help please.

I have been attempting to show the student administration block so that students can view their own grades.

I have checked and double checked "define roles" for authenticated user and student, and the moodle/block:view is set to allow for those roles on that block.

However, when I do a check permissions on that block by

 The permissions are set to "NO" for any student I check in the list of users.
 
Now, how could that happen? How can my define roles be correct, but when I check permissions they are NOT correct?
 
It has me scratching my head. I want to add the admin block for my students, but it won't show!

Can you please post screenshot when it shows no when you are checking permission, then exactly i will able to tell you where to see. This same happens with me too with message block. But i sort it out.
