Move topics without AJAX

We have just upgraded to 2.5 from 1.9 and have AJAX functionality to move topics. However, in courses with many topics, drag and drop is inconvenient. Is there a quicker way to move topics. We are using the default theme.

I looked for a thread on this topic already, but couldn't find one. Thanks for your help.

Dear Jeff,

One solution with large courses is to turn AJAX back on and temporarily change the course format to Collapsed Topics with many columns.  The sections will be closed but you can still drag and drop them around.  When happy, then change back to the original format.
