Automated Backups and user data

Hello to everyone, I would like to ask you something about the automated backups and User data.

First let me explain the scenario I have:

I have setup moodle to do an automated backup everyday at 3:00 and to keeps 2 recent backups.

Lets say we have days x, y, z, a

If Moodle performs the backup on day x all user data will be included on the backup, I think this is clear. Lets say now that on day y I go to the course and I unenroll all students, then on y day at 3:00 Moodle will perform another backup with no enrolled users which will replace 1 of the previous backups. On day z Moodle will perform another backup with no users enrolled which will replace the second old backup, in result I will end up with 2 backups with no enrolled students.

My question is

What happens when I restore the latest backup, on day a, on the same Moodle server. The User data will still exist in the course and I will be able to see grades?

And what will happen if I restore it to a different Moodle Server, I will still have user data included?

Thank you in advance, and sorry for my English smile

Christos
