Hello - I am an educator at a small hospital. We are struggling to use Moodle, as it seems we have to do everything the hard way. We want to put educational material up for staff to view and then complete a quiz. Neither of us is an IT person.
We are using 2.3.2+ (build 20120920). All employees are "users" on the Moodle site. I built a new course with a ppt and quiz and would like to enrol some of the employees in this course. In addition, I would like to enrol them in one of 6 "groups" based on the unit they work on.
I have an Excel spreadsheet with the appropriate employees in it. The columns are username, lastname, firstname, group. I can save this as a csv. It seems like I should be able to use this to enrol the students into this class and have them automatically separate into the correct groups, but I can't figure it out. Can someone help me?
