i'just upgrade my moodle 1.9 to 2.2 .
BigBluebutton worked with moodle 1.9
but now i have a problem with moodle 2.2 and BigBluButton module 1.9rc1
the error message is :
Exception : String could not be parsed as XML
i check my bbb server everithing works
i check connecting to api from moodle server (with wget-O --- quiet http://myserver/bigbluebutton/api
and it's return
<response> <returncode> SUCCESS </ returncode> VERSION 0.8 </ version>
</ response>
so it's ok
any idea ?

Just an introductory question. Did you install the right version?
There are two packages for the BigBluebuttonBN plugin, both are in the version 1.0.9-rc2 (now). One is for Moodle 2.x and the other for Moodle 1.9.
If you migrated your site you need to uninstall the old plugin and then install the proper one. If you already did this then provide more details about the versions using on your deployment. (php version, mysql version, exact moodle release version)

i come back, i migrated to bigblueebutton 0.81RC (it's a awesome upgrade) and i migrated moodle 2.2 to 2.5 same problem.
my homemade php page can create easy create a conf room but moodle in same server can't do that
bigbluebutton server and salt choice doesn't accept my modification
and bbb config still call in moodle/admin/notification.php
i'll try to contact you with skype during this week (but in textmode because, i don't understand correctly speaking english language (sorry for that -_-' ) )

Problem solved with erase of all bigbluebutton mention in database and reinstall
