I have a brand new installation of 2.5, and am using game version 2013050305. I have created a glossary (with words) and a crossword that is supposed to use it. However, the crossword is giving me a "there are no words" error. Is anyone else having this problem?
Check the parameters of each game. Maybe the words contain spaces and you don't allow spaces in parameters.
I was reported the same error this morning in Moodle 2.6 for a crossword built on a glossary. The problem was related to Maximum number of cols/rows setting. You have to make sure you allow enough space for your words to fit in. Otherwise you get a "there are no words" error.
