Using html tags in lesson answers

Using html tags in lesson answers

Help please!

I have been building a web design course and created a new section on html tags. It worked fine as a web page so I thought I would convert it to a lesson with some questions.

Some of you may know where I am going with this.

The problem arises when I try to ask a question on which is the correct tag e.g. </>. Once Moodle hits this, it starts ignoring most of the rest of the code in the lesson. Questions, answers etc. all disappear smile

Any ideas?

Cheers

Simon

Hi Simon,

Have you tried replacing characters with HTML entities i.e. replace < with < and > with >

After looking at < etc. all day and trying to get rid of them in other code, I really should have thought of this. Wood and trees spring to mind smile

Thanks for this, works like a dream. Now off to deliver it to Romsey...
