I have been have some issues experimenting enrolling students with a fixed enrolment duration. My issue is that no matter what the course default settings seem to be for a manual enrolment, these will be ignored in favour of an individual user enrolment settings. This makes perfect sense as you should be able to have that level of control over an individual, however this automatically makes the course settings null and void if it is always being ignored like this. I would appreciate if someone could tell me if there is an alternative way to enrol a student (or a group of students) that takes into account the course default.
I have attached a couple of screenshots to show my process.
Image 1 - This depicts my course's manual enrolment settings
Image 2 - This depicts the manual enrolment method. There is no setting to simply use the default course settings for 'manual enrolment'. Whatever option I choose (unlimited to 365 day duration) it will accept, instead of adhering to the course default.
I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.
