Hi,

I'm very new to this, and would really appreciate some assistance.

I have a multi-part, multi-choice question such as the below. For each correct answer, they should receive one mark. For every incorrect answer, they should receive -1. Using the built in Question Bank tool, I can't work out how I would construct this into a quiz.

Question:
Runners on 1st and 2nd base. Batter hits a home run. Once the runners have circled the bases the catcher alerts the umpire to the fact the bat has pine tar which extends 19 inches up the bat handle.

Part a) The umpire should rule on the batter..

  1. The batter is to be ejected

  2. The batter is to be called out

  3. Do nothing

Part b) The umpire should rule on the runs scored...

  1. Allowed

  2. Nullified

Part c) The umpire should do with the bat...

  1. Removed from the game

  2. Have the pine tar cleaned back to legal distance

  3. Do nothing

The version of question types I'm using is 2012112900.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Hello Matt

You can create a multiple choice question for this and write a question with its choices, default marks for the question should be 1 and for the correct choice you have to set marks 100%. Set the penalty for each incorrect try to be 100%.

Secondly for constructing the whole question you can refer this forum i have posted a reply few days back https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=231523#p1005549
