We are planning an upgrade from Moodle 1.9 to 2.4. We are attempting to fix and improve our methods when using Moodle. Currently we have one course we offer every two weeks.
Right now, we backup the course and restore it, and change the start date then upload a bulk amount of users via CSV.
I was reviewing cohorts and was wondering if this could a better method than backing up and restoring. Do cohorts allow different course start dates? How will students data be stored?
