time won't pause during the quiz attempt when clicking the next button

hi everyone, i've been using moodle 2.3 and i've found a an issue during the quiz attempts when clicking the next button the time still continue its countdown. Is there a workaround to solve this? any suggestion would be a great help, thnx.

Acquire a time machine to pause time?

Buy a really fast server, so the next page loads in under a second?
