We recently upgraded from v.1.9.x to v.2.3 and I would like to know what the proper settings are to ensure students receive email notifications when their assignment has been graded by their instructor. Can anyone assist here?
Is it the Essay grading notification setting that must be enabled within the Messaging settings of the user profile? Does this grading notification setting apply to ALL types of assignments?
Our students may not want email confirmation of submitting their own assignment (Assignment notifications setting) but most likely want to receive notification when their assignment has been graded. Will this work if the Assignment notification setting be disabled, and then the Essay grading notification is enabled?
Any help or hints will be greatly appreciated!
