Is there is any possiblities to migrate our existing moodle site (running on mysql db) from mysql to oracle with out affecting current datas.
Moodle version we are using is 2.5+
Well, you can. Just like you can beat yourself over the head with a hammer. I would not recommend either course of action.
Why do you want to do this? Whatever your problem is, move the DB to Oracle is unlikely to be the best answer.
However, to answer you question, look at admin/tool/dbtransfer.
Hi Tim Hunt,
Thanks for your reply, no issue by using mysql, just we want to use oracle for standardisation that's all.
