404 error on file uploads ver 1.9

Anyone know why I get a 404 error when I have upload a resource (ie an image) to the file directory on my Moodle site?

Hi Derek,

Could you please give a bit more info... what Moodle version 1.9.?, how are you exactly uploading the image, and how are you actually trying to display it.

Error 404 is a "file not found" error.

Hi sorry for my delay, I believe its 1.9.1

I'm just using the file upload feature. The file show as being in the moodle directory, but when I link to it in the course and click to open it, I get the 404 error. I think it's just a path error but I can't figure out why it's happening.

Hi Derek,

I'm sill missing a bit more info about your process, however, I guess the problem is in the linking part. Have you tried uploading your image with the Image insert icon in the html editor toolbar?
