Installing and upgrading help

Hi, i'm a new user of moodle and sorry for me english.

...i have a problem, similar to other problems that have been posted already in the forum, but the solutions don't  solve my problem.

I have a Fedora core 3 with php and mysql installed from rpm packages brougth by fedora.

I can't login with admin user.

1º The install dont create config.php, because it have problems with the data directory. but i have configure config.php manually,.

2º The install don't finished, because the cache and sessions directories hasn't created in data directory, i have create this directorys manually.

3º I have gave owner to appache to moodle directory and data diretory.

4º I can enter as guest, but with admin/admin i can't.

5º i have try with phpmyadmin to change the mdl_user_admins id to 2 (the id of guest) but the guest don't enter with admin privileges.

6ª I need yout help, please.
