Hi all,
what helped me to solve this problem was to export the question in Moodle XML format. I opened the exported xml file in a simple text-editor (e.g. notepad) and changed the values which were not configurable any longer. Then I imported the modified xml-file again into moodle and the parameters were changed.
You could however edit your parameters values in the simple_calculated_edit_form.
Here a case with 20 generated values with 10 values shown so the last bottom item is 11.
If you click on the Show more ... button then you can edit the values

Notice also that as the items are shown in a decreasing order, the first one shows the number of items that has been generated
