Suppose it is desired that the email of the forum posts is to be sent to the admin only, is the method mentioned below likely to work (Moodle 1.3.1):
- Enable visible group option in course setting without forcing it to all the activities.
- Enable the visible group for the forum.
- Add only the admin to the group.
Please comment.
I have noticed that if points 1 and 2 are followed but if nobody is added to the group, email is not sent to anybody.
