Do you already have a Moodle site? The first thing to do would be to get yourself a Moodle online (as opposed to a practice one on your computer) so your students can access it from home or other places. How you do this depends on your technical know how and money available - have a read of About Moodle FAQ There are many books and videos to help you learn how to use the various features but you can also look in the free documentation on this site Moodle docs and in particular, look at Managing a Moodle course with its sections on Activities and Resources
