Configurable reports block - Issues

We have Moodle installed in a Windows environment.

  • Moodle 2.4.4
  • Windows Server 2008 R2
  • IIS 7
  • PHP Version 5.3.18
  • MS SQL Server 2008 R2
  • Moodle debugging on

We downloaded and installed the Configurable reports block as per usual.
https://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=block_configurable_reports
Configurable Reports, Version 2.2 (2011040105) for Moodle 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5
Extract and copied the configurable_reports folder to /Moodle/blocks/
Logged in, the block installed as a block normally would.

Then when we added the block to a course, the following error displayed.
Notice: unserialize(): Error at offset 75 of 1713 bytes in Q:\webroot\Moodle\blocks\moodleblock.class.php on line 422
And the PHP error log recorded this
[27-May-2013 15:27:36 Australia/Canberra] PHP Notice:  unserialize(): Error at offset 75 of 1713 bytes in Q:\webroot\Moodle\blocks\moodleblock.class.php on line 422

The block appeared on the page.
So we clicked Manage reports on the block
The page loads with headings “No reports available and Add report”, a file chooser, and an Import report button, nothing else displays (except the normal menus and blocks)???

Moodle screen

Any clues on where to start looking to get this fixed as we would really like to uses this block?

Trevor, what happens when you click "Add report", as that is usually the next step in creating a report?
