I have the situation, that a defined group of users is not allowed to see the blocks on the frontpage. I set up a role to hide the block in the context of course with the capabitltiy moodle/block:view = prohibit. Under Front page role I added the users which are not allowed to see blocks which worked fine. But the solution is not handy to administrate and very error-prone.
Is it possible to assign a role based on a user's profile attribute? Any other solution is also welcome.
