When using Eclipse remember to do periodically Project -> clean and, right click in the project navigation window at the left -> Refresh

Go to Menu Project -> Clean
And also, right click in your project name (in the left navigation window) Refresh
Tell me if it works now
Also, you must be sure that the assets/www/index.html is not the "Hello word" original page
