How can we restrict access for a set of users using roles and permissions to specific categories and courses?
What do you exactly mean for restricting access ? Access to courses can be restricted to defined sets of users when self enrollment is not allowed and where enrollments are managed manually or by an external back end.
Here is what I am trying to do:
I have two categories:
- Technical category - Technical category will have all courses related to technical users.
- Non Technical category - It will have all courses related to non technical users.
I am dividing users into department as Technical users and non technical users.
I don't want Technical users to see the Non technical category/courses and vice versa. Basically, non technical category/courses should be hidden from technical users.
Please let me know if it is clear and is there any way to do this.
I am trying to find out how to do this too. Have been struggling with this challenge of restricting access or view to parent categories.
