I'm rather lost/clueless so hopefully without constantly nagging Richard someone may be able to help me.
We have "academic advisers" for each of our students. They do not necessarily teach them in any modules/courses. An academic department allocates a student's AA when they enrol in the university and they stick with them throughout their degree.
So we want to use ILP to provide workflows for Academic Advisers to record their interactions with their tutees. I've installed the plugin. I've set up one report. We won't at the moment be linking it to back end databases.
I've created a role of acadadv and have uploaded the 13,000 combinations of tutee/tutor/role using the upload mentor/parent facility.
But I can't for the life of me see where I enable the ILP block, nor how to see a dashboard for a student. I've enabled a couple of tabs - primarily the "reports" tab. But where does it appear? Or how do I get it to appear.
I'm slightly confused about "My Course Groups" because by definition our academic advisor-student relationship is not one within a course/module.
See what I mean, basic help! I feel I'm missing something obvious.
I have a meeting of the Project team for Academic Advisers tomorrow and would like at least to be able to say we can do what we think they want to do!
I'm sure when I tried this some months ago I at least got to see a dashboard (in 2.2 Moodle), but cannot remember how now!
