I am just after some advice regarding excluding a user from Moodle site wide logs under Site pages> Reports>Logs>
Well, we have just had Zabbix installed by our IT dept to monitor our Moodle server. Part of this monitors login page loads, LDAP response times etc. So our IT created a monitoring account on Moodle that now creates 22000 records a day..gulp! The actions are 'Course View' and 'user login' every 10 seconds.
Does anyone else have that level of monitoring? Is it a problem to have that type of monitoring?
And most importantly (from a log viewing perspective) is it possible to exclude that one user activity from showing in the logs? It makes them far too large and difficult to scan for 'real' user behaviour.
If its possible what additional code would we need to add to the DB and exactly where would it need to be added?
