I'm new to moodle and it's a bit overwhelming. My needs are rather simple, but specific. A few more questions...
I will have users log in for the first time through our LDAP server and they will be default "student". I need to make sure every new user that logs in has been put in the right cohort, of course. Any way to manage that process? I don't see any way to temporarily "hold" a new user login until they are put in a cohort.
Also,
I would like to assign a course to a cohort and run a report to see who hasn't yet taken it so I can bug them with an email or something. I would like this to be as automated as possible to keep track.
Any advice or direction is greatly appreciate.
