I'm a little confused about what set_url() should do (Moodle 2.4), hoping someone could clarify a few things
I've created a course format that uses horizontal tabs to separate out some of the content, within the course format there is some logic to call a particular function from the renderer based on the query string.
Problem is, when browsing off to a settings page or editing an activity the user is always returned to the standard course url (without any of my query string parameters).
So from what I understand set_url() can be used like the following to register the current page, this url should then be used when returning to the page from something like a settings page...
I've tried sticking this at the top of my themes course page layout, and it does work to a point.
When editing a block settings you can see the additional "test" parameter in the url, but then it is not included in the return url when settings are saved.
Plus set_url() seems to be completely ignored by any modules.
Am I doing something wrong, or have I simply got the wrong end of the stick?
