Pages loading speed in Moodle 2.4.2 is rather slow when I entered as Admin. I made some tests (just inserting displaying of the current time in difference peaces of code) and found that displaying of Settings block take 5-7 seconds. Is it possible to increase diplaying time of this block? Can it be stored in cache or somewhere else?
Performance of Settings block displaying

Displaying the admin block is known to be slow, but it should not be anywhere near 7 seconds. Even 0.7 seconds would be surprisingly slow. There must be something badly configured on your server. Are you using a PHP accellerator like APC?
