We are working on creating a new block for our specific installation of Moodle.  The documentation on creating blocks was helpful for creating the basic block, but did not explain how to incorporate custom db functionality into it.  I've noticed the "db" folder in each of the default Moodle blocks.  It would appear that the sql to create the tables would be in here, but each "mysql.sql" file that I look at is empty.

Can someone point me to some documentation on how to do this?
