I just discovered tagul.com -- produces a word cloud that can be shaped AND each contribution, when clicked on may be directed to a URL. Cool!! Now, how do I get this to direct the action of clicking on a tagul entry to the corresponding Moodle glossary entry???
This would be a fabulous way to motivate learners -- the visual glossary list of words is dynamic, fun and engaging.
Example: http://tagul.com/preview?id=139801@1&name=BlueJ_wordCloud is a word cloud that I can use with students learning to program in Java in the BlueJ IDE. The terms, at this time, represent a starter set of terms. It would be nice to make this even more dynamic -- during a course to add terms so that the tagul image changes over time compelling users to return from time to time.
