Where do I find the backup-files?

Where do I find the backup-files?

When I installed Moodle 2.2.7 I told Moodle to save backups in a map called moodledata2. It is no problem to create manual backups. I can se them from within Moodle, but I can´t find them in moodledata2. As far as I know I havn´t got any automatic backup although I have asked for these. Cronjob is activated, but I get no e-mail telling me about created backups. In moodledata I only find files that like session-files, no backups. In my earlier Moodle installation 1.9 this was no problem at all. Automatic backups are regularly saved in moodledata. How do I get automatic backup to work? Where are the manual backup-files saved?

Hi Gunilla. Check out my Prezi presentation.

It clarifies where your files are stored.

I have read what you have written in the link but sorry, I am still somewhat confused. I have checked "Use course namne in backup", but I can´t find any course names at all.

When you write the query, it will show you the name of the file in the results returned. That was what I meant.
