Certificate Plugin Prevents Backup of Course

I am using Moodle 2.4.1 (Build: 20130114) with 6 courses.  When attempting to backup one of the courses the screen goes blank and that is it ... no other message and no backup. When I enabled debug messages I received the following message on the blank screen:

Fatal error: Class 'backup_certificate_activity_task' not found in /home/solution/public_html/site.url/backup/util/factories/backup_factory.class.php on line 107

I am using the most recent verstion of the certificate plugin (2013021200).  I had no problem backing-up the other 5 courses, and those courses did not have the certificate activity.  I deleted the certificate activity from the course failing its backup and was then able to back the course up.  Is this a known problem with the certificate plugin, or is it only a problem for Moodle 2.4.1?  Will this problem be fixed?

Thanks for any info.

Dan

Hi,

Which certificate plugin are you using?

Hi,

I re-installed the plugin and went into the certificate directory and made sure all the PHP files had permissions of 0755.  That solved the problem.
