As a troubleshooting measure, we're considering disabling all logging by adding a return statement at the beginning of the add_to_log function in datalib.php as suggested in a previous post. This is the same method the function already uses to disable logging when a user logs in as another user.
Has anyone done this? Could it have adverse effects other than activity reports displaying no data? We made the change on a test server and it seems to be functioning normally. We're running Moodle 1.9.19+ (Build: 20120831).
Thanks in advance.
