This plant family is characterized by three following botanical structures: banner wing and keel. What is the name of the family and for extra credit, what is the name of the plant pictured? My moodle question--- is there an easy way to reformat my photos so they are not too big for use as attachments?
Do you want to resize your pics or something else?
Have you used the insert image icon in the editor toolbar, from there you can set the size and other things for the pic.
Use any decent graphics software to resize the file in the first place (Photoshop/GIMP/many many others):
The editor that Jaswinder mentions would be suitable for making relatively minor adjustments to images used in labels etc, but you asked about as attachments - also note that even using the editor if you just resize them in the image options there, you are still in effect loading the full size image onto the page and using the styles to alter the size, a couple of full size hi-res images is going to slow your page down even if they are only displaying at thumbnail size!
