I am new to using lessons. I am wondering if it is possible to create a lesson that has the computer asking the student for his/her name in the beginning, and then the computer will use his/her name in the remainder of the lesson. I want the student to type his/her name and, ideally, the computer will save that name for future lessons, so the computer might say "Hi, Jerry, I haven't seen you since Tuesday. How are you?"
This is not possible.

EDIT.- On second thoughts, I'm wondering if you are using the word "lesson" in a general sense or in the specific meaning of "a Moodle Lesson activity"?
