When you configure a block, what is the different between "any page",
"any course page" and "any type of main course page"

You may already have an answer but Any Page means the block will show up on EVERY page within your course; Any Course Page I am a bit vaguer about but it seems to mean any information page; and Any type of main course page seems to be only the main course page - this may be different if your Moodle is set up to display tabs.
