Hello all,
I've got a couple of boxes that I would like to get the password reset system to reset our users passwords.
Right now I've got LDAPS setup on one of our servers, all the usual LDAP configuration junk and I can get the system to send me a "reset password" to my e-mail address, but when I go to login with that password it doesn't work.
What I'm wondering is two-fold:
1) Is the salt-hash in Moodle controlling the random generated password that sent to me? (answer: most likely yes) and
2) How does an LDAPS account that does NOT have password information stored get reset properly by the LDAPS server? I've looked and looked on the forums and haven't found a satisfactory answer to this and will be happy to add a wiki entry once this is resolved.
