TeX debugger works but not rendering in moodle. No error messages.

Hi,

I'm using Windows XP Pro, PHP version 5.0.4, Apache2 and mysql server 4.1.

When I type a TeX like $$f(x)=\Bigint_{-\infty}^x~e^{-t^2}dt$$ to create a quiz question, it doesn't get rendered.

I get the same string $$f(x)=\Bigint_{-\infty}^x~e^{-t^2}dt$$ in the actual question. There are no error messages appear.

This same problem also occurs for algebra.

I've used the tex debugger and the debugger is able to render the image. I've also gone thro most of the forum posts and tried stuff like changing the variable for the ? and / but doesn't work.

Could you help me with this problem? Not sure what's happening.

Do I understand you correctly: you are seeing $$$f(x)=\Bigint_{-\infty}^x~e^{-t^2}dt$$$ instead of $$f(x)=\Bigint_{-\infty}^x~e^{-t^2}dt$$?
If that's the case, it seems that you haven't turned on your TeX filter in your Administration->Configuration->Filters page.

Yep, you're right. Now it works. Thanks very much. It was a very silly oversight on my part.

I'd better make a list of these things to look out for next time I set it up again.
