Setting up blocks for all courses

I want to be able to set up the block layout for all of the pre-existing courses on my Moodle server without having to set the layout for each of them manually. The courses are already present on the server so it isn't the default layout I'm interested in. Is there anyway to set the block layout for all courses simultaneously?

This is in Moodle 2.3. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Did you ever find out how to resolve this? We're looking at a similar problem.
