I'm all for rewriting the player. I know a number of people who get turned off by SCORM because of the presentation in various environments (like moodle and scormcloud) when it forces some kind of ugly navigation wrapper around your hand-crafted content. This module is the sort of thing I tend to tinker with over time anyway, since authoring both scorm packages and scorm lms's is something I've been doing for a decade at least now, and our primary business is producing scorm content packages. YUI frustrates the hell out of my for some reason, I guess my brain is now engineered for jQuery and Prototype and Angular. I kept looking at the module.js code and thinking "I'll just rewrite this in jQuery, it would take half an hour" (but haven't, of course). I'll git clone and get tinkering.
