Hi Everyone,
installing moodle for the first time and when i go to http://localhost it doesnt display the install.php file. even after i type the full path in i dont get the installer.
I have setup test php files and they display fine, any ideas?
the version im using is 2.4.1

You need to turn off "friendly http error message" in your Advanced tab of Internet Options. "Friendly" messages don't tell you what's wrong, just that something is wrong. Then repeat the localhost action again. Hopefully that will give you a more meaningful message.
