I think this is a key feature missing from the Choice tool. For such a small and simple tool, it opens up a world of options for our users, but I think that we need to get activity access conditions to be able to read the responses in a choice tool to allow us to use choice as a branching gateway. I can already think of a lot of places where I would use this
I agree Andy, it would be a logical next step for the choice activity. Who do we need to make this happen?

The next step would be to create a new issue in the Moodle Tracker and encourage others to vote / comment / come up with a patch for it, as described in the New feature ideas guide.
