Upload invalid

Hi

I've just installed moodle on a IIS service with mySQL running

the site and everything works smoothly and everything is find except every time i try uploading a file i get the following error:

The "" is either empty or a folder. To upload folders zip them first.

Did i miss something?

Out of curiosity and in case it helps, what file type are you uploading?

and what's its name? And are you uploading via "add an activity or resource>file"?

Re: Upload invalid

just for the testing i tried several different files (and file types)

And i worked in the conventional way:

turn editing on -> add an activity or resource -> file

I've attached a print screen of the issue.

I encountered that message also some time ago. In my case it was a "no space left on device" and permission issue, so I'd check out if there is space left and check if the IIS can write to the data-Directory.
