phpinfo() - 2 different readings

Hi

If I check the phpinfo from within Moodle 2.4 it is showing the max_execution_time as 30. I have uploaded a php.ini file to increase this, but it doesn't show through on the phpinfo from within Moodle. Moodle also doesn't list the path to the php.ini file that I have just uploaded.

If I upload a seperate phpinfo page it shows all the settings I have changed in in php.ini file (including post_max_size). This phpinfo also sees the correct path to the php.ini file that I have uploaded.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Alex

I raised a support call with our hosting company as to why I would see 2 different phpinfo readouts and they suggested I ask here.

Basically the phpinfo within Moodle doesn't see the php.ini file that I have uploaded, whereas a standalone phpinfo uploaded to the root directory does see the php.ini file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Alex
