Hello,
I am attempting to access the Moodle quiz content from a Flash file through php. I am looking for documentation of the Moodle API in an attempt to use moodle's calls for a list of qquestions and to check answers etc. Can someone please guide me to the documentation.

Not that I will be able to answer your question, but as something you might also consider... you might like to try Jamie' flash activity framework instead. That way you can pass data to the database to/from a flash file, but not to the quiz part of the database.
Also, Jamie offered to make a flash front end for the quiz at a very reasonable price and I am thinking of taking him up on it one day in the not too distant future.
As for the list of calls and their documentation, I (a non developer) would recommend you look at moodle/mod/quiz/lib.php and the comments therein.
