If I am not mistaken, there used to be a way to restore course files from a directory already on the server without having to upload through Moodle. Is that function still available?
I am using Moodle 2.3
The problem continues to be a max file upload area (which I see in the forums a lot of people are having). My php.ini is set to 200M for a max-upload size and 19200 for the upload time. The file is about 29M in size and keeps failing to restore. That is why I want to point Moodle to a directory already on the server to hopefully avoid timeout errors.
