FTP server on a Windows OS without IIS

I want to set up FTP to use with Moodle and Apache but we are on a Windows server and do not have IIS installed - we're using Apache 2. I'm looking for an opensource FTP server easy to use and easy to install that will work well with this combination but not IIS. I've hunted in the forums but have only found reference to web hosting who have already set up FTP for you or Linux servers that have it built in.
Has anyone got this combination to work for them?
Thanks
Heather

Try the FileZilla FTP Server. It works fine with Apache on Windows. It's even bundled with Apache 2 in the XAMPP Package.

Heather,

As Kurt suggested, go with an XAMPP installation for "one-stop shop" that includes the Filezilla FTP server and everything else you need to run Moodle.

Cheers,
