students are getting two email notifications after I use add/remove attendees link for a face to face session. Manager approval is turned off -- the messages are exactly the same and are sent as soon as I add the student to the session. Is anyone else having this problem? They are asking me if they're signed up twice so I'd like to get this figured out.

I believe the link I posted explains that the duplicate emails are sent because one has a calendar invite and one is just a plain email. As soon as the student accepts the calendar invite, that email disappears in Outlook, so the thought is that two emails are necessary. For myself, I have come to prefer that there is one notification that will stay in the inbox even after the student accepts the invite.
We had a situation today where someone signed up for a face to face event (days ago) and was sent 6 reminder messages ( since the event is now 2 days away)- all the same email reminder- about 1-2 minutes apart.
Would anyone know why this person received 6 email reminders for herself?
