Adding new Question Type to Lesson Module

I noticed that the Lesson module only includes a subset of question types (Essay, short answer etc.)  I have a few question types I developed based on Short Answer qtype, can I modify lesson module to include these.  They behave exacly like short answer.   For example the JME qtype is based on short answer, thus could it be easily added to Lesson qtypes.  If JME could then mine should be able to as well.

Hi Carl,

When you say you have developed new question types, based on Short Answer qtype, I suppose you mean they are based on the Quiz Short Answer qtype, not on the Lesson Short Answer type?

If so, then I'm afrait it will be quite difficult to include them in the Lesson activity, since the way questions work in Lesson and Quiz are completely different.
