Enrolment

I am trying to change the default role to student for the Manual Enrollment plugin.  It allows me to choose student and save it.  However, when I go into a course the default displays as teacher to enroll via manual enrollment.  When I double checked the plugin it is still set to Student for the default role. I am logged in as administrator and using version 2.2.3.  I even tried logging in as a teacher and the default role does not display as student for manual enrollment.  Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks, Diane
