Last week WIRIS released a new version of the WIRIS plugin that adds accessibility to the math expressions generated with WIRIS editor.
With this new feature, every formula is generated WYSIWYG, displayed as an image to the student and this image contain the accessible text as "alternative text", allowing screen readers to access it in the most usual way.
It works today in English and Spanish, but as new languages are added, the alternative texts will be cached automatically, so admins won't need to change any configuration (besides the upgrading!).
